Los sellos acústicos se instalan en las parte baja de la puerta. En el momento de cerrarla hace presión automáticamente un sistema mecánico que deja caer el sello de aluminio y neoprene hacia el piso ejerciendo presion sobre la superficie. Así se produce la estanqueidad necesaria para evitar el paso por esa zona de ruidos y otros contaminantes.
En el momento de abrir la puerta el sistema se libera automáticamente, subiendo el sello para permitir la apertura de la puerta sin arrastrarlo.
